Seven years after they first met during a uni lecture, these two lovebirds are still head over heels – and Brittany still has a serious crush on Michael. So when it came time to plan their nuptials, this fun-loving couple opted for a colourful, playful outdoor affair that was a true celebration of their love.
They held a gorgeous outdoor ceremony followed by a festive barn reception. The day featured a coral, lavender, tangerine and mint colour palette, and this vibrant look was tied together with an array of paper flowers — from the candy-bright ceremony arch to the barn’s grand entrance. “I wanted to be mindful of our floral budget so our team had the amazing idea to incorporate paper flowers for a pop of colour, a bit of whimsy and a big price saving on flowers!” says Brittany. “The first thing I knew was that I wanted a barn wedding. This early decision really set the tone, style and feel for the event. From there, I also knew I wanted a colourful palette and my designer helped me narrow this to a concentration on coral, lavender, tangerine, and mint. Though we grew up 3,000 miles apart, we both were raised in beautiful, small mountain towns and we wanted to embrace that relaxed, mountain feel,” says the bride. We love the whimsical bouquets and dapper bowtie-and-braces look sported by the groom and his groomsmen! Check out all of the stunning pictures below.
