I’m sure many brides will agree when I say that finding ‘The One’ is often easier than finding the ‘other ones’. I’m of course talking about bridesmaid dresses. The tricky thing is with bridal party threads is that you’re not trying to only please yourself, you’re also trying to find gowns that your besties, of all shapes and sizes, look fabulous in and that they will wear again. Tricky.
Lucky for brides Australian designer Fleur Wood, known for her intricate, whimsical vintage inspired designs, has launched a gorgeous collection of oh-so stylish bridesmaid frocks and The Knot team headed along to her Sydney store for the launch.
“The collection encompasses five timeless, fashion inspired bridesmaid dresses that will definitely be worn again,” says Wood. The collection allows brides to not only choose from the five designs but also to select a length, fabrication and colour to best suit their bridal style.
Two designs from the range which starts from $495 and is available from Sydney’s Strand Arcade and Melbourne’s Chadstone stores.
Not only did we fall for the new bridesmaid collection, we were totally smitten with the cute flowergirl tutu…I may or may not have asked Fleur if she could make this in an adult size for me (I did!). Seriously, how cute is it? And the beautiful lace embellished cake created by the clever folks at Sweet Art.
The seriously delicious choice of colours the range is available.
