    Hi,
I recently bought a beautiful second hand dress, made from raw silk. When I went to try the dress on their were some yellowy marks on the back of the dress. I pointed these out to the girl who was selling the dress and she assured me that the dress had been kept in the cupboard. We both came to the conclusion that the marks must have been from the bag. We got the dress dry-cleaned and then when I went to pick up the dress, I checked for the marks and they had gone.
I took my dress out of the cupboard this week and the marks have re-appeared! I showed them to a friend and she thinks it is from the sun and that the dress is ‘burnt’.
Is this possible? Is there anyway to fix the problem? Would a dry-cleaner be able to do anything?

    Many thanks for your help!
