Hello, Because i love Vintage so much i’ll be having it as my mine theme for Our Wedding, Not 100% whether to use Blush Pink or Lavendar yet. But if anyone has any DIY cheap and on a budget ideas or websites for Vintage Weddings or any ideas to save money as Vintage isn’t the cheapest. Let Me know :)

    Hi GabyandJim,

I would start at Pinterest, there isn’t much you can’t find on there for DIY and wedding projects.

Wedding blogs such as Style Me Pretty and Polka Dot Bride also have DIY sections, other DIY wedding type blogs are Ruffled, La Belle Bride and Etsy can also be a great place for purchasing handmade goods or getting ideas.

We have gone with a Vintage Chic style for our engagement party, most of the items I got from discount/bargain stores – e.g. fruit preserving jars (mason jar style) for $1.50, doilies, paint, plates, cups, napkins etc.

Also, with Ruffled, Brides do sell things from their weddings, but I have not investigated it much to see what postage costs would be, whether you could pick up some bargains from there. Gumtree is also a good place to keep an eye on!

    Good luck :)
