The moment I started to flick through the images from US couple, Abigail and Chris, I feel head over heels for the unique vintage-y touches. It’s one of those weddings that look like it would have been an absolute blast to be a guest at! The wedding was held on the groom’s parents property is Normangee, Texas, which complimented the rustic vintage style of the couple perfectly.
The groom added some flair to his outfit by the way of a polka dot bow-tie and a boutonniere featuring yellow craspedia and tied with a piece of twine.
Chris designed the invitations with an emphasis on typography as well as an old-school feel.
Abigail had her sister calligraph each guest’s name onto a navy flag, which she pinned onto spools for the escort cards.
The creative couple reclaimed a vintage screen and painted it with chalkboard paint to create a unique seating plan.
Traditional centrepieces would have felt out of place at this rustic wedding, so a collection of mis-matched vintage books were the perfect way to decorate the couples reception tables.
The graphic menu cards complimented the couples custom made invitations.
Do you love this couples wedding style?
